Cannot sign in

Symptoms

The sign-in page rejects a credential, or a saved session no longer opens the workspace.

Check

  1. Identify whether this is Desktop or Server. Desktop uses native local session authentication with no password prompt; the Server administrator is a separate credential.
  2. Confirm the exact product address and whether Server setup has completed.
  3. For Server administrator access, use the administrator credential created during setup, not the setup claim token or an API key.
  4. For a client or integration, check whether it expects a scoped API key rather than an interactive administrator login.

Resolution

Use the credential for the correct identity and endpoint. If the sole Server administrator credential is lost, follow the controlled administrator recovery procedure; it replaces that credential and revokes sessions. Do not reset or expose client API keys as a substitute.

Escalate if still stuck

Record the product mode, URL origin, and visible error without including passwords, setup tokens, cookies, or API keys. See Diagnostics before sharing evidence.
